A few years ago I listened to my husband (aka Mr. Rockstar) and rejoined NaNoWriMo and participated, which lead to making writing a part of my everyday life again. (Something I hadn’t done for a long while.) The next year I decided to join in the fun and create videos for NaNoWriMo preparations in October–up until this point I’d been a blogger and a lurker on Youtube. I was nervous about making videos but I put my big girl panties on and created my first video.
Within a few months time, several people asked me if I was going to continue to make videos during NaNoWriMo’s off season. I hadn’t considered making videos about anything else. I had no idea of what I’d even make videos about other than NaNoWriMo, but during that first few months on Youtube videos kept popping up my suggestions list about videos from people I’d started following because of NaNoWriMo.
